Plankerdown's motto "A tradition of quality" really says it all, their work is second to none and the amount of thought and consideration that goes into every aspect of building a home is remarkable. You simply could not ask for a better contractor, especially if your a first timer.

After living in Ontario for 8 years we were somewhat jaded, we questioned everything trying to ensure our dream home was being built properly and on budget. Our paranoia however did not phase Gary in the least. Every question we had he took the time to answer and explain our options, making recommendations based on his vast experience and knowledge. In all fairness I could not say he went the extra mile to help us, Gary went an extra one hundred miles and we simply could not have done it without him.

Building a home in Newfoundland can be a nightmare, however with people like Gary and Plankerdown they make it seem easy. Gary, Ron and all the guys may have started out as our contractors but they quickly became our friends and now they have practically become family.

I want to say the Plankerdown construction is probably one of the best group of people I've ever worked with in my life.

I 've had a lot of people doing different odd jobs for me, but to be efficient, effective and friendly and on time.. everything was just wonderful. I'm better than pleased I can't get over what a great job they did !

From the very outset Bonnie & I have had no issues with Plankerdown what so ever.. we are very very happy with the quality of work they do. We are very pleased with the workers that have been here... and obviously we would use them again and recommend them to anybody in this town.

We moved to the West Coast and looked at several houses to buy but we just couldn't find one that we loved, so we decided to build a house instead.  We had been through the new home construction process twice before but we were new to Western Newfoundland and of course we were a little hesitant.  We really wanted to find a Contractor that we could trust and one that we could easily work with. 

Plankerdown Construction was recommended to us and right from the first meeting with Ron and Gary we knew that we had found a Contractor that would fit the bill.  They worked with us right from the beginning of the project and, even now that we have moved in, they are still available if we have any issues or questions.  Gary and the crew were amazing and their workmanship shows through in the beautiful house they built for us.  We greatly appreciated all of the advice and guidance that everyone provided to us, especially when we wanted to change some design aspects throughout the project.  Plankerdown gave us realistic timelines and worked very hard to ensure that they were met. 

We moved into our new house a couple of months ago and we are still thoroughly grateful for the relationship we were able to develop with Ron, Gary and the crew. We are hopeful that through this message we are providing a recommendation for Plankerdown and that someone else has the opportunity to see exactly what they can do!
